[SC006] The Ultimate Revenge Plan: How Two Friends Outsmarted YouTube’s Most Notorious Prankster After His Shocking Return

The neon lights of the gaming room cast a vibrant, retrowave glow against the posters on the wall. Chloe, wearing a mustard-yellow t-shirt and a blue-and-black flannel shirt tied casually around her waist, was deeply focused on her dual monitors. She sat comfortably in her white and purple ergonomic gaming chair, the faint hum of her PC filling the otherwise quiet room.

Suddenly, the door swung open. Marcus stepped into the room, wearing a casual, faded blue V-neck shirt with tan piping around the collar. He looked breathless, his eyes wide with a mixture of disbelief and deep frustration. He didn’t even bother to say hello. He just walked straight up behind Chloe and tapped the back of her chair.

“Dude,” Marcus said, his voice tense. “You won’t believe this.”

Chloe spun her chair around, her long, dark wavy hair shifting over her shoulders. She looked up at him, her dark eyeliner framing a look of mild confusion.

“YouTube,” Marcus continued, emphasizing the word as if it were a betrayal, “gave Mikey his channel back.”

He shoved his iPhone forward so she could see the screen. Right there on the display was the YouTube app, open to a channel named “MikeyTV.” A brand new community post dominated the feed. The graphic was loud and obnoxious, featuring a picture of Mikey and another teenager holding their fingers to their lips in a “shush” motion. The bold text over the image read: NEW MISCHIEF MIKEY VIDEO COMING SOON!! Prank time!

Chloe’s jaw actually dropped. Her eyes darted from the phone screen to Marcus’s face. “Already?!” she gasped, her voice pitching up in pure shock.

“Mhm,” Marcus hummed, a bitter sound confirming the terrible news as he stared down at the screen, swiping his thumb over the ridiculous thumbnail.

Chloe couldn’t sit still. She pushed herself up from the gaming chair, her hands gripping the armrests for a second before she began to pace the small space between the desk and the door. “Bro,” she stammered, her eyebrows knitting together in heavy frustration. “It’s been like… a month?!”

“I know,” Marcus sighed, his shoulders slumping. He looked utterly defeated.

Chloe stopped pacing and threw her hands up in the air. “This kid is like a cat with unlimited respawns!” she exclaimed, the anger finally bubbling to the surface.

Marcus locked eyes with her, his expression hardening from defeat into cold determination. “And we still haven’t gotten our revenge on him for how he…”

“…for how he completely humiliated us in front of thirty thousand live viewers,” Chloe finished his sentence, her eyes narrowing as the dark memory flooded back into her mind.

The Great Slime Sabotage

Exactly thirty-two days ago, Chloe and Marcus had been hosting a massive, 24-hour charity livestream. They had raised thousands of dollars for a local animal shelter and were hitting peak viewership. That was exactly when “Mischief Mikey” decided to strike. Desperate for viral content, Mikey had managed to sneak into their apartment complex, pick the lock to their studio room, and rig a bucket of neon-green, foul-smelling synthetic slime above their main doorway.

When a pizza delivery driver knocked, Marcus opened the door, triggering the trap. The slime didn’t just ruin Marcus’s clothes; it splattered across Chloe’s expensive mechanical keyboard, short-circuited a brand-new microphone, and caused the entire stream to crash in a spectacular, embarrassing failure. Mikey, naturally, had filmed the entire thing from the hallway, laughing hysterically before running off into the night.

The internet backlash against Mikey had been swift. Viewers mass-reported his channel for harassment and property damage, leading to his swift suspension from the platform. Chloe and Marcus thought the nightmare was over. They thought justice had been served.

They were wrong.

Formulating the Counter-Strike

“We can’t just let him come back and pretend nothing happened,” Marcus said, tossing his phone onto Chloe’s neatly made bed. “If his new ‘Mischief Video’ goes viral, he wins. He gets the views, the sponsors, and the ego boost. We become a permanent punchline.”

Chloe sank back into her gaming chair, her mind already racing at a thousand miles an hour. She pulled her knees up to her chest, tapping her chin. “He’s predictable, Marcus. Look at that thumbnail again.”

Marcus grabbed the phone and squinted at the image. “It’s just him and his dumb friend making a shushing face.”

“Look at the background,” Chloe instructed, pointing a manicured finger at the screen. “Behind the heavy blur effect. Do you see those geometric glass skylights? And that specific shade of teal tiling on the wall?”

Marcus squinted harder, bringing the screen inches from his nose. “Wait… is that the Westfield Mall?”

“Exactly,” Chloe smirked, a dangerous glint appearing in her eyes. “He’s filming a public prank. And if he just got his channel back today, he’s going to be filming it this weekend while the foot traffic is at its highest. He needs a massive reaction for his grand return.”

Marcus slowly started to smile. “So, what are you saying?”

“I’m saying,” Chloe replied, turning back to her keyboard and cracking her knuckles, “that a cat might have unlimited respawns, but every gamer knows that if you camp the spawn point, they never stand a chance. We are going to crash his comeback.”

Infiltrating the Set

Saturday afternoon at the Westfield Mall was a chaotic symphony of chattering teenagers, crying toddlers, and generic pop music echoing from the high glass ceilings. Chloe and Marcus sat inconspicuously at a small table in the food court, nursing iced coffees. They had been staking out the area for two hours, waiting for any sign of the notorious prankster.

“Maybe he went to a different mall,” Marcus whispered, adjusting the brim of a baseball cap he was wearing as a disguise.

“Patience,” Chloe whispered back, her eyes scanning the crowds over the rim of her sunglasses. “Trolls like an audience. He won’t go anywhere quiet.”

Suddenly, Marcus tapped Chloe’s knee under the table. “Ten o’clock,” he muttered. “By the large indoor fountain.”

There he was. Mischief Mikey. He was wearing an oversized black hoodie, looking around suspiciously while carrying a large, suspicious-looking duffel bag. Behind him, trying to act natural but failing miserably, was his cameraman, holding a DSLR camera low by his waist.

“What’s the play?” Marcus asked, his heart rate beginning to spike.

“We execute Protocol Karma,” Chloe said smoothly. She pulled a small, modified Bluetooth speaker and a microphone from her backpack. “You get into position. I’m going to give him the public shoutout he so desperately craves.”

The Trap is Sprung

Mikey was setting up his trap. He was carefully pulling what looked like a massive, realistic remote-controlled tarantula out of his duffel bag, placing it near a bench where an elderly couple was eating pretzels. He motioned for his cameraman to get the angle right. He was grinning from ear to ear, ready to terrify innocent people for a few thousand likes.

He reached into his pocket for the remote control.

Suddenly, a massive, booming voice echoed through the entire mall pavilion, completely overriding the background pop music.

“ATTENTION WESTFIELD MALL SHOPPERS,” Chloe’s voice thundered from a wireless speaker she had sneakily managed to lodge into the branches of a large decorative fake palm tree right above Mikey’s head.

Mikey froze, his thumb hovering over the remote. He looked up, bewildered. Dozens of shoppers stopped in their tracks, looking around.

“IF YOU LOOK BY THE MAIN FOUNTAIN,” Chloe’s amplified voice continued, dripping with sarcastic enthusiasm, “YOU WILL SEE THE INFAMOUS INTERNET CLOWN, MISCHIEF MIKEY, ATTEMPTING TO SCARE AN ELDERLY COUPLE WITH A FAKE SPIDER FOR INTERNET CLOUT. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO POINT AND LAUGH AT HIS DESPERATE ATTEMPT FOR VIEWS.”

The effect was instantaneous. Every single person in a fifty-foot radius turned to look directly at Mikey. The elderly couple on the bench looked down at the plastic tarantula, then back up at Mikey, deeply unimpressed.

Mikey’s face turned a brilliant shade of crimson. He panicked. He tried to grab the spider and shove it back into his bag, but his hands were shaking. “Cut the camera! Cut it!” he hissed at his friend.

But before he could escape the perimeter of humiliation, Marcus strolled casually out of the crowd. He wasn’t holding a bucket of slime; he was holding something much worse for a YouTuber’s ego: a massive, bright pink, heart-shaped balloon that said ‘Get Well Soon!’

Marcus walked right up to the flustered prankster and tied the balloon string directly to the zipper of Mikey’s duffel bag.

“Welcome back to YouTube, buddy,” Marcus said loudly, ensuring everyone in the crowd heard him. “We heard your channel was dead, but we’re so glad you’re recovering! Stay out of our studio.”

The crowd around the fountain erupted into laughter. A few teenagers whipped out their own phones, filming Mikey as he desperately tried to untie the embarrassing pink balloon while retreating toward the exit, his face burning with absolute shame. His grand comeback video was entirely ruined, replaced by a hundred different angles of him being spectacularly outplayed.

Back at the food court, Chloe packed up her microphone, a satisfied smirk on her face. Marcus returned a minute later, high-fiving her across the table.

“Well,” Marcus laughed, taking a sip of his melted iced coffee. “I guess his respawn timer just got reset.”

“Let’s go home,” Chloe smiled, pulling her sunglasses down. “We have a charity stream to finish.”
